James is a native Arkansan and was raised in Harrison. He is the managing attorney of The Elrod Firm’s Bentonville office. His practice focuses on estate planning, asset protection, probate, guardianship and trust administration.  He regularly works with clients seeking to avoid probate court and those looking to prepare for the high costs of long-term care.

James received his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. Prior to law school, James attended the Oklahoma State University where he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in the majors of History and American Studies. James lives in Rogers with his wife and daughters. James enjoys any outdoor activity and any chance to see the Arkansas Razorbacks play ball.
